Little things bring us joy! Simple wishes, dreams, desires motivate us and drive us to do crazy things. Today's LSD (Long Sunday)began with no targets in mind.Pulled into the group by Shiva at PB, I thought I would run apni man marzi..Hardly did I know that Hari&Co were planning to do a 21k via Chennai 0 .The magic milestone was in my wishlist and did not want to let go of the opportunity as soon as I got to know. Definitely, Im no match for the trail blazers & I'm always a trailing gazer. Doc decided to accompany Uma & me and have a relaxed run. I couldn't ask for more. Lest that I realise, it was a killer weather. The oppressive weather conditions made every step tougher. Thanks to my running partners to put up with all my cribbing and ranting. The timing transitioned from 4:1 to 3:1, later to 2:1 and finally walk. Clicking pictures en route for varalaaaru kept me going.Completely drenched in sweat , dehydration taking a toll, indeed a bad day...
Back To School Vacations are over and its now time to be back to school.Wow!!It is a very pleasant sight to watch Aakriti,Greeshmi,Bhavesh,Meghna go to school.Bhavesh wakes us up as early as 5.30am with his loud cry.We live together in the same apartment. They have joined nursery class.Neatly ironed new uniforms, new shoes. Isn't is really very exciting. The smell of new books, uniform, shoes & socks... I wanna get back to my school. Meeting old friends after a long break, discussing about their hols was delightful.1 or 2 days just passed chit-chatting.New entrants were like aliens/strangers,staring at them and negligent to even say a "HI".It took almost 3-4 months to accept the new comers. I was always a back-bencher.Only one reason to be early to school on the re-opening day was to a find a good place in the back seat.Unfortunately, I had to take up the 1st row in my 12th standard as I was late on the 1st day.Only then I realized why the 1st benchers were the 'all-ti...
My Kids...Vakul & Vallabh Growing naughtier day-by-day,not a single hour passes without a cry, fall,or a fight between the two. When they were born,I thought they would be easier to manage as they grow up.But now its vice-versa.Things are growing more complex.More adamant, more mischievous, more troublesome, its only more & more .... All of their naughty activities are accompanied by lots of sweet things to enjoy & ponder over.Right now, they are in a stage where they can understand almost everything we say. They don't wanna stay inside the house.Wait 4 the door to open & run out.Climbing up & down the sofa is their favorite activity. They r crazy about switches. We ve tried to block most of them but in vain. I ve taught them to say 'SORRY'.How???Hold both ur ears with ur hands, sit down & stand up(YES,the typical Pillayar Thoopukaram). They are very well aware of their mistake & say sorry in a very cute way with all smiles. How can ever even think to punish...
