Love you boys !

Amma's Love ❤️  It dawns with the koel's call, The tiny tailor tweets loud of all, The stripey squirrels bark to make me fall. Yet, I wait for .. The breakfast smell to waft through the air, All seems to be fair in mom's care, Time to wake - up for my share!! Dedicated to my mom. Written during my recovery post surgery in Ambattur on 20.8.2023 My mom nursed me with so much care despite her age, that I almost forgot I was recovering and started enjoying my break which transformed into vacation! 

 Have you ever realised a whole jackfruit can steal your day. Ranga and I decided to no longer wait to wak e up our Sleeping Beauty from her deep slumber.  Oh ! Sleeping Beauty - the Jackfruit he bought from Cuddalore was ducked in a cosy corner, beautifully muffled up in thick  carpet to ripen. We have been waiting for her.. peeping our noses every morning and evening for status updates. Yet , she seemed unmindful about it. Must be She needed more warmth. What can be worse than the Chennai weather! Today, we finally decided to wake her up  and rip her apart due to signs of rotting here and there. Patiently, She tolerated all our butchering.  But, She gave us a tough fight and kept us occupied for 3 hrs to completely remove all the kernels. She was huge enough to feed 5 families. What next?? Plan B when you have no takers.  She  transfigures into chips and halwa and takes another few hours of my time. She made my day!!  Rough and thorny outside,...
